An Addendum

After writing the movie quotes article, I realized that I had left out many quality films that belong in my personal pantheon. I decided to increase the number to 20 films, so the following are a list of what I originally disregarded. No attempt to rank them has been made. Thank you for your understanding. Honorable mention to Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

20) KIDS- Never has a discourse on the nature of Christ and His sacrifice been better delivered. "You got gold?"
19) Anchorman: The Story of Ron Burgundy- This documentary is a perfect example of how the male/female dynamic should be treated in the modern-day workplace. Women are inferior only because their periods attract bears. It's science.
18) Kindergarten Cop- The earlier Arnold arguments apply here as well.
17) The Vacation movies- Chevy Chase is the uncle you always wanted. Cousin Eddie is a model for aspiring alcoholics; the six-pack hanging off your belt is absolutely acceptable in comtemporary society.
16) Ferris Bueller's Day Off- Anyone who visits Chicago should re-create this epic day. The wisdom of Abe Frohman is eternal.
15) Caddyshack- 'nuff said.
14) The Big Lebowski- Yeah, I'm biased. What member of Footballksi wouldn't be? I could repeat a lot of lines, but we all know them don't we?
13) Dumb & Dumber- "So you're sayin' there's a chance."
12) Any Wes Anderson movie- Some love Rushmore but I'm a Tenenbaums kinda guy. And what about Dignan and Bottlerocket? "How did Bob get such a great kitchen?" Pictures of me as Richie Tenenbaum sure to follow.

Angie Jolie has your Neil Young quote tattooed on her stomach. Well same gist at least:

Quod me nutrit me destruit

Latin for what nurishes me also destoys me

Yes, that is my second Latin comment in as many days...but in the words of #12, Max Fischer, "I saved Latin. What did you ever do?"
